In commemoration of World Development Information Day, which is celebrated every year on this day, the nations of the world are aware of how data and information can be used for the development of different aspects of life.
It was in the year 1972 when the general meeting of the League of Nations issued a resolution that passed the commemoration of this day every year like this day in world the observance of the development of information is held to draw attention to the development and the other hand the need to support the strengthening of international cooperation in dealing with challenges to human development.
In Somaliland, where the exchange of information is part of the citizen’s daily life, it is necessary that the information be developed to reflect society’s development and fight the problems that plague this development.
The FARRIIN center based on the importance of this day is calling on all media organizations, journalists, government agencies, and all stakeholders to cooperate in the development of information and information related to social issues.
We urge the operators of information and broadcasting to direct this important work they have for their country to the development of various aspects of the economic culture of the Somaliland community.
